What we collect
Only what you choose to give us through our forms:
- Group sign-up: first name, email, phone (optional), area or postcode, age range, and how you heard about us.
- Podcast guest, volunteer, partner and employer forms: name, email, organisation details and anything you write in your message.
- Updates: your email address.
When you join a group or have your first chat with us, you may tell us about your mental health. This is special category data, and we treat it with extra care. We only record what we need to keep you safe and support you.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To contact you about the thing you signed up for (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To reply to employer enquiries and run workshops (legitimate interests / steps before a contract).
- To keep people safe, including passing information to emergency services if someone's life is at risk (vital interests).
- Health information is processed with your explicit consent, or where needed to protect someone's vital interests. [TBC: confirm conditions with adviser]
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data, ever. We only share it with:
- Services that help us run this website and our forms, such as hosting and email providers (currently Cloudflare; email/storage provider [TBC]), under proper data protection terms.
- Our clinical partners, only if you need extra support and, wherever possible, with your agreement. [TBC]
- Emergency services, if we believe someone is at serious risk.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it. Interest registrations are kept until the group you registered for starts, then for up to [TBC] months unless you join. Updates emails continue until you unsubscribe. [TBC: full retention schedule]
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Just email info@underpressurepodcic.org.
